# How We Use AI at Work Health Experts

Work Health Experts is a clinically led workplace health education consultancy. Our work covers sensitive topics, including menopause, burnout, mental health, pregnancy loss, and neurodiversity, and our clients and the participants in our sessions trust us to get the details right. This page explains how we use AI tools in our work and the safeguards we apply.

Our principle
AI supports our team. It does not replace us. We use generative AI tools to help with research synthesis, drafting, and refining language, in the same way a team might use a research assistant or an editor. Every piece of client-facing and public content is shaped, reviewed, and approved by a human member of our team before it reaches you.

Clinical oversight of health content
Any content we produce that touches on health, clinical, or medical topics is reviewed and approved by our Clinical Director before publication or delivery. This applies whether or not AI tools were used in the drafting process. Statistics, legislative references, and citations are verified against primary sources. We hold PIF TICK certification, which sets standards for trustworthy health information, and our use of AI is consistent with those standards.

Confidentiality and data
We do not enter client-identifiable information, participant responses from our sessions, or commercially sensitive material into public AI tools. Where AI assistance is used in client work, inputs are anonymised or restricted to tools with appropriate data protections in place. Our handling of personal data follows UK GDPR and the equivalent frameworks in the jurisdictions where we operate.

Keeping this current
AI tools and the guidance around them are evolving quickly. We review this policy at least every twelve months, and sooner when standards or our practices change. If you have questions about how we use AI in work we have delivered to you, or in content you have read on our site, please contact us at hello@workhealthexperts.com
